Seriously, why is there no art with these two?? I had to watch "Starscream's Ghost" a dozen times to get these two to look right @_@ I never colored them before and my colored pencils have been collecting dust, so here's my crappy colored version.

Anyways.... Some may call them the canon couple from G1 season 3 but I still say they are just friends. I know they have the potential to be more but when they were together in that episode they seemed real chummy in that 'hey friend' sorta way. They didn't scream lovers like Red Alert and Inferno do to me.

So here's the thing: In Starscream's Ghost, Octane trips and falls down alot, not watching where he's going cuz he's so sure that the other Decepticons are coming for him. I mean come on, Octane had balls to "borrow" Trypticon and try to ursurp Galvatron. But here comes easy-going Sandstorm and he befriends Octane. They joke and kid like good buddies and Sandstorm tells Octane that he won't let the other 'Con get him at him. I don't know about you guys, but that's a friend!!

This scenario: Since Octane was so clumsy in that eps, I have him repaying the favor and helping Sandstorm when he trips and falls. I can just hear Sandstorm: "Thanks Oct, Ol' buddy!" and Octane would shake his head at him and say: "Just becareful."
