post BotCon '08 musings

*~single and loving it - no attachments, no boyfriend :D ~*

I just realized, it's been a week since I've been back to work sonce returning from BotCon! I've been lazy with updating. I know, I'm sorry. I've just been exhausted. I've been trying to download pics from my camera and I finally figured it out and I'll be posting the pics from BotCon in a few minutes.

All in all, going to BotCon was a really good experience for me. I needed to take a vaction from work and despite the long drive out there, I really enjoyed it. I got to see some cool scenery ^^

Again, I had an awesome time spending the weekend with :iconscream01: and :iconraggletag: We have to hangout again!

I wish I had more time to make my Blaster costume more awesome, and I probably did have enough time just didn't use it wisely enough. *shrug* After going to Anime bostin in March and doing a Speed Racer cosplay, I went right to work on Blaster. Notthat I wasn't working on it here and there, collecting pieces and material, but I didn't really assemble anything until April. So Blaster was literally constructed in about a month's time. I have the costume pieces laying in the other room so I can play with it some more XD

The best part about BotCon, I think, other than splurging in the dealer's room and meeting special guests, is meeting the other fans. I was really happy to meet new people and talk to people I met last year. If I see you at BotCon, or any convention, prepare for hugs. I just become a hug whore XD

I've been playing with my BotCon swag lately, playing with the Transformers animated toys and trying to think up a place to put them. I got BWN Longrack at last, but still no Break, the penguin-bot continues to elude me :P I finally opened my Revoltech Starscream and Rodimus and i posed them with Megatron XD It was really awesome to meet David Kaye again and meet Tara Strong and Bumper Robinson ^^ I'm just rambling on and on now....I'm still very tired and have a headache >_< That and I'm still reeling from seeing Iron Man... twice! And I'm going to see it again soon. You'd think I started reading the comics or something ! :XD:

We have no idea when we might be done... Volfogg and the GunMachine twins are about to start teaching, and Mic just auditioned for a band and made it ^^ We still have to get into the third part, where the GGG humans show up and see what the mechs have become in the five years since they left.
